Let’s Talk About My Experience with Microchanneling and Stem Cells

In the early days of opening our clinic, Fully Faced Up, a mutual friend suggested we needed something special on our services list to offer our clients—something that would set us apart from all the other medspas we were competing with. So, we took her referral and went on a little trip to Lumapharm.

Enter Procell… After a quick consultation and a demo treatment on microchanneling with stem cells, we were already hooked and handing over our checkbook. This seemed like a smart investment—something that would surely pay for itself down the road.

The treatment was simple with very little discomfort. First, I was given the option to use numbing cream. I opted to numb half my face and leave the other half bare so I could feel the real intensity of the treatment. The only downside to the numbing cream was that you had to wait twenty minutes for it to take full effect. Other than that, there was absolutely no disadvantage to using it. To be honest, the treatment did get a bit spicy at times—nothing unmanageable, but also not exactly comfortable. So, I suggest numbing 100%.

The treatment itself was quick. Using a tip with tiny little sterile needles, the machine made stamp-like passes over my face in groups of three. The machine, which looks like a little silver gun, made tiny cuts to the skin to trigger wound healing. Then the magic happened when the liquid gold—aka stem cells—was rolled onto my face.

This continued a few times until I was a rosy shade of red! Not to worry though, the redness subsides quickly. Side note: you may want to bring a cap to your appointment to hide paparazzi-style after your treatment. Given that you can’t wash your face for the first 24 hours, you might want to plan this facial on a day or evening when you have some downtime to go home and chill.

I left rosy, with specks of blood all over my face. Think Dracula vibes—lol. Sounds fantastic, right? More spooky-looking, actually! But there’s a consolation prize: I got to take home the remainder of my stem cell serum—approximately half a bottle. I continued to use this liquid gold every 2-3 hours until it was finished. At that point, I could wash my face and return to my regular skincare routine.

After the full 24 hours, the redness had subsided, and my skin began to feel dry and tight. Most people think they can see and feel the results right away, but the truth is, it only gets better from there. Three weeks after is the sweet spot, where the results start to really take shape and the changes become noticeable to you and those around you. It doesn't stop there though, because a series of 4 (or unlimited) treatments spaced out once a month is ideal.

I personally noticed a dramatic difference in my skin. My pore size has decreased, and my skin texture has transformed. It's tighter and has a healthy glow. I love the way the results have made me feel more youthful and confident. I know when I do microchanneling, I am truly taking care of myself and my skin.

Microchanneling with stem cells has become the go-to glow-girl facial, not only for me, my friends, and family, but for all our clients at Fully Faced Up.

We are happy to report that after such a short period of time, our investment has paid off. It was always simple math: when you invest in yourself, you always get a return.
